Even though Christmas was only just yesterday, we still have one more thing to celebrate before our lives resume normally, sans holidays to look forward to: New Year’s Eve! While Christmas is a day for family, baking, and gift-giving, New Year’s is all about partying, dancing, and having one or two too many drinks. Here are some great NYE party decorations for the perfect celebration!

1. Moon Piñata | Oh Happy Day

The first step to a perfect party would obviously be a piñata. Let’s be real: even though we aren’t kids anymore it is always fun to swing at things with a baseball bat only to uncover the holiness that is candy. These are perfect for the NYE theme.

2. NYE Disco Napkin Rings | Camille Styles

3. NYE Disco Ball | Crafts Tutorials

You may or may not be in Times Square when the ball drops. If not, make your own New Year’s disco ball. This might be a better alternative to the cold New York winds because you will be warm and indoors — just sayin’.

4. Balloon Wall | Martha Stewart

Okay, so we took this from a bridal shower tutorial. So what? This is perfect to create a winter wonderland for the most awaited party of the year (yours)!

5. Confetti Champagne Flutes | Pizzazzerie

Hand us a bottle of champagne and we’ll be good, but try amping it up a bit and decorate the champagne flutes. A little glitter never hurt anyone.

6. 201[4] Signage | Ruffled

NEW YEARS EVE SIGN

Simple, easy, and straightforward. Obviously, it’s going to be 2014 so make sure to change numbers accordingly.

7. Sparkling Setting Center Piece | Martha Stewart

A centerpiece makes or breaks any snack table. Anything shiny will do, but this glassware display will be even better.

8. Glitter Candles | Celebrations

More 2014 decorations? Bring it on. You can choose to light these if you’re in a darker room, but make sure to place them in areas where they can’t be knocked over. NYE parties do tend to get a little rowdy.

9. Candy Poppers | Mother Nature Network

More candy, less problems. These make great party favors.

10. Poinsetta Punch | ChowHound

Don’t forget the champagne, but may we point out that punch is always great for big parties? Make a large batch to keep everyone satiated.
