Designer Matthew Robinson created a series of side tables that have a cartoon feel to them. The wood tables have an asymmetric look, with the fourth leg having an off-color wood that “drips off” the edge of the table and incidentally creates the fourth leg of the table. Robinson calls his creation “Fusion Tables,” and was inspired to create it as his final project while he studied furniture building at the Leeds College of Art in England.
The side tables are handcrafted out of American Walnut and Maple and adds a burst of youth and life into an everyday piece of furniture.
We’re really inspired by the creative take on what is typically a traditional piece of furniture. Why not add something special to the end of your couch? Otherwise, side tables could be a little boring, don’t you think?
