The Minions. They’re the (adorable) cohorts of criminal mastermind Gru (Steve Carell). We first met these mischievous yellow creatures in 2010, in the beloved film Despicable Me, and we just can’t get enough of them!

But just because the Minions assist villains in their evil-doings doesn’t mean they’re evil, per-se. In fact, they seem to be pretty nice. They’re certainly funny to watch, and they get into all sorts of ridiculous scrapes.

The Minions have been around since time began. They evolved from single-celled organisms into the crafty little guys we know today. With no sense of evil direction, the Minions suffer from depression. It’s some time in the 1960s when Kevin devises a plan to find a new master. Joined by Stuart and Bob, the three little lackeys make their way to a villain convention, where they meet Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock)
