On Wednesday, in the middle of the 2012 Kitchen of the Year showcase, I decided to tour the dream kitchen for myself — and in the process, attended a cooking demonstration by Kholer Chef, Paul Smitali. It was hot, overcrowded, and slightly stinky in the room, thanks to an increase in body odor as it got hotter and more crowded in the room, but I was determined to get my own pictures of the kitchen. And boy, was it beautiful! Take a look at the images below:
The main kitchen area, where the cooking demonstration was held. I loved the light fixture hanging from the ceiling!
Loved these stainless steel storage spaces, as well as the cutting board placed so brilliantly atop the sink!
The butler’s room/maid’s kitchen:
I’m really mad I didn’t take the time to look at the ceiling in this room, since I just saw pics of it and it’s beautiful!
The main attraction!
I walked into the middle of Paul Smitali’s cooking demonstration when I arrived at the showcase room. He was showing how to make curry hamburgers:
Here’s the finished product:
And I even got a sample of his tasty burgers! Yum.
