It’s been a while since we’ve featured anything interior design related on Redesign Revolution! Considering that’s the reason I started this site in the first place, that’s pretty sad. But with this inspiring coastal-inspired South Carolina kitchen renovation I found, I couldn’t stay away. With the gorgeous robin’s egg blue and warm white color scheme, along with the play between coastal classic and contemporary design, it was love at first site with this kitchen.
Things I loved about this kitchen:
- The over-sized farmhouse sink. You can see this charming farmhouse sink in all its glory in the last image. I love the apron-front. That, combined with the vintage-style faucet makes this a sink to be envious of!
- The subway tile backsplash. I can’t hate subway tile, so the way it blends into this getaway kitchen makes me very happy. I often get kitchen contractors for a right backsplash suggestion that’s important to protect my walls from spills and splatters.
- The beaded board on the statement island. I really love how the color scheme makes this island stand out, and I just love how beaded boards can help make that statement when it’s done right!
- The open display shelves. How understated is that?
I wish I knew who designed this! You can oggle several more pictures of this renovation on Better Homes and Gardens.
