By purchasing a rather plain condo in L.A. Curbed was not so pleased, so they decided to take on a project by Photoshopping his space into something worthy of a Gangnam real estate. Diagnosing the Home Alone burglars’ injuries: A professional weighs in via The Week – 1990 film Home Alone has made the ranks as a classic must-watch during the holiday season – we’ve certainly never missed a Christmas without watching either the first film or its sequel. But there is something a little wrong with the belief the film asks you to suspend for the sake of comedy. Could the burglars really have left the prank-filled home unscathed after getting a blowtorch to the scalp, BB gun to the forehead, an iron to the face, or hand burn by the red-hot doorknob? Yeah, we don’t think so either.

Artist Creates Multi-Layered Sculpture of Barack Obama via Design Taxi – Georgia-based artist Michael Murphy just unveiled a huge 8′ x 6′ x 7′ cardboard sculpture of President Barack Obama. Planning Commission Approves Durst’s 57th Street Pyramid Apartments via New York Observer – 57th and Hudson is about to get a major face lift! City Planning Commissioner Amanda Burden wanted something iconic for the empty lot, and Douglas Durst certainly delivered with this BIG pyramid, which is to house 753 apartments, tapering from a pinnacle of 38 stories.
