Ah, the honor of being the maid-of-honor. It’s a lot of pressure being the bride’s right hand person. You want to make sure everything from the bachelorette party to the actual big day is perfect, but the real big moment for you to shine is at the bridal shower. If you want to elevate your game, checkout these beautiful DIY bridal shower ideas. In the video above, Brooke White and Summer Bellessa put the fun back into planning your bride’s shower.
The first idea is so original and pretty, we can hardly stand it. It’s a DIY pressed flower plate. To create one, you’ll need a plastic plate, clear-drying glue, and pressed flowers. Once you decide the pattern, you’ll glue the flowers in place, and then put another coat of clear glue over them to seal them.
The next idea is DIY monogrammed napkins. To get started, you’ll need the ink of your choice, napkins, stamps, scissors, baker’s twine and a flower sprig. You’ll stamp the letters of your choice on the napkins. The, place your dinnerware inside, and tie the napkin with the twine. You’ll slip the flower sprig inside, and that’s it.
Finally, the last idea, and our favorite, is this DIY flower crown. You’ll want to set up a little crown-making station that has wired crowns, flowers, and floral tape. Just remember, you’ll need a lot of flowers! Everyone will assemble on their own, so you don’t have to worry!
