For some reason, it always feels like an impossible task to figure out what to get your dad on Father’s Day. Racking your brains may lead to thinking of expensive watches or maybe tools, but we are firm believers that when it comes to this special day – or if you are on a budget – a personalized DIY gift is the way to go.
Thankfully, HGTV‘s Ann Le walks us through how to make a storybook with materials you can find anywhere and for an affordable price. With just a binder, chalkboard paint and an ounce of imagination, you can create the perfect storybook. Another idea – if you’re not quite sure about the artist in you – is to turn the storybook into a scrapbook by pasting in pictures, doodling and writing a few notes.
The finish product can (and should!) be paired with some milk & cookies. Dad will not be able to take that smile off his face.
