One of the most overdone trends of the year? Famous brand logos re-imagined in the ultra minimalist look. You’ve seen them: Yahoo went minimalist with their overhyped month-long redesign campaign. Web browser giants Google and Firefox even unveiled more subtle versions of their classic designs. What’s a design group like Stock Logos to do when there are so many brands ready for that redesign?
In this series of ultra minimalist creations, Stock Logos tackled iconic brands like FedEx, Disney, Coca-Cola, and more and gave them a younger, cleaner look. What we particularly enjoyed about this set of redesigns is that Stock Logos managed to maintain the features of each logo that gave it the iconic look and made them entirely different, yet completely recognizable. By hand-picking brands that are memorable to a mainstream audience member but entirely different in terms of industries, this design group has done a great job of uniting everything from entertainment to fast food and offering an advance level of cohesion.
