We are typically very much last minute shoppers. We can’t help it; we just can’t seem to drag ourselves into the holiday rush (especially in NYC on the weekends) to get our loved ones their Christmas gifts. Lucky for us (or our loved ones?), our MoMA Store holiday catalog came in the mail! We might just drag ourselves downtown this weekend to spend a pretty penny at the MoMA Store. But more ideally for us, we’re rounded up our favorite MoMA store products on sale as a Christmas wishlist so our friends and family could figure out what to buy for us! (Hint hint.)
We think that these reversible frames are absolutely delightful. They are colorful, lightweight and portable. And with the double-sided magnets, you can stack them horizontally or vertically to create a freestanding collage of photos – perfect for folks who still enjoy physical photos decorated throughout their home! Sells for $25 to non-members.
We just cut our cable in our apartment this past weekend and have realized that we are now in dire need of a statement wall clock in our room – the cable box was the only thing in the apartment that would tell time! Quite problematic. This monochrome wall clock is gorgeously created with the minimalist in mind. Each “blade” of the clock is a different shade of black, progressing from the lightest color at the beginning of the day to the darkest to indicate nighttime. Sells for $45 for non-members.
We read in the reviews section that one MoMA member designed her entire kitchen around this cutting board – we applaud her, because the colorful design serves as a cheerful addition to your kitchen while also providing multifunctional purposes, like a trivet and serving platter as well as an everyday cutting board. Sells for $25 for non-members.
Our roommate is very enthusiastic about adding spices and seasonings into her meals. Don’t you think these four seasons spice shakers could add a little more flavor to the cooking process? We might get this for her as a Christmas present, mostly as a thank you for cooking us so many dinners. (But shh, don’t tell her!) Sells for $39 for non-members.
This serving bowl is striking in its simple design and visual impact. It was ingeniously created by circling lacquered wooden spokes and twisting it open to create its unique form. Perfect for your coffee table, don’t you think? Sells for $38 for non-members.
