Waterfall Island at Iguazu Falls

Thanks to the wonder that is StumbleUpon, we came across a site we never would have found otherwise: My Random Stuff. And you know what MRS likes to feature? Gorgeous photography! They recently wrote a post featuring some of the best photos of 2012, inspired by something Reddit user stoopidtrooper posted (a gallery of 48-images) this past Monday. We have decided that our Photo of the Day must induce some wanderlust in the wondering eye of you morning procrastinators, and we found a gorgeous shot of the Waterfall Island at Iguazu Falls.

The Iguazu Falls is located on the border of the Brazilian State of Parana and the Argentine Province of Misiones. The staggering view can be credited to the total height of the falls: it tops out at about 200-269 feet. This particular view can be seen from a lookout on San Martin Island on  the Argenitine side of the falls. We know where we are booking our next trip!
